I’m the author of a best selling series of cycling guide books which started with the release of 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs in 2010. I have followed this up with a further 12 pocket titles to date documenting the hills/mountains of Belgium, France and Italy but most importantly the whole of the UK. I wrote every word, took every photo and designed every page of each book. I run the marketing and social media campaigns, produce the promotional material and design the related merchandise to promote the brand. My books have sold over 120,000 copies to date and their popularity has led to me presenting on TV, writing regular columns in magazines, guiding groups of cyclists and presenting talks.
My most recent book 'Ride Britain' is a step on from my pocket guides and details 40 rides I plotted around Britain. I again designed every page and wrote every word but for this I had help with the photography.

Previous positions HAVE required me to...
Redesign What Digital Camera from scratch, creating templates and style sheets,
controlling the design of the title from conception to print.
Create illustrations and identities to add depth and colour to publications.
Organise photo-shoots and Initiate ad campaigns.
I have contributed to the re-designs of many Magazine titles including Mountain Bike Rider,
Web User, World Soccer, Nuts and the NME.
I have years of experience in managing staff and running a busy art department.
I am proficient in Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
